No. There are a large number of variables that can have an effect on training and behaviour modification results, some of which are completely out of the control of Blockheads Dogs. We will take an incremental, systematic approach to help mitigate those variables, and we will coach you, if you need it, on the most effective and efficient mechanics for reinforcement-based training. Training includes support via email, video, and text along with training plans to meet your goals.

No! If a training package has been purchased, it will be available to you for the life of your dog. Puppy packages should be completed before he/she reaches 5 months of age.

My friend/relative/co-worker referred Blockheads Dogs to me. Does that help me in any way?

Yes! Blockheads Dogs loves referrals! If an existing or past client refers a friend that completes the Initial Consultation, both of you will receive 20% off your next Blockheads Dogs purchase as a thank you.

Can you tell me about your Harness Library?

Yes! Blockheads Dogs loves harnesses! A properly fitted harness that does not impede your dog’s movement is a great tool for walking your dog. If your dog pulls on leash, the harness can help to protect the delicate tissues in their necks while they *learn* to walk with a loose leash via positive reinforcement! We have a library of harnesses to loan out to clients (with a deposit) to try, in case people are on the fence about investing in one. This is great for puppies because they will quickly outgrow their baby equipment.  If you are interested in donating a gently used harness to the library, please feel free to ask for details.

Can you tell me about video and aggression cases?

Yes! Blockheads Dogs likes to utilize video to help evaluate dog body language, reactions to triggers, and handler mechanics. When you contact us about aggression, video will be suggested.
